The stunning historically significant treasure that graces the main entrance hall is the late 1800's 'landscape' hand-blocked wallpaper by the historic French company, Z ber, titled "Eldorado" which conveys scenes from Byzantine, Greek and Egyptian mythology. These landscape wallpaper designs are considered so historically relevant to the late 1800's, that the Smithsonian had a researcher visit and study it in 2024. Plumbing, ductwork and wiring have been added over the years and modifications for 3 full & 1 half baths, fans, lights, outlets, including 3 ventless gas fireplace inserts have been made working on the 1st floor.
